Delicious &#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4>FIGOS-DA-\u00cdNDIA NO ALENTEJO<\/h4>\n<p>Mesmo antes de passarmos a porta deste estranho conceito j\u00e1 sab\u00edamos como valia a pena l\u00e1 ficar. \u00c9 que Nuno e Cristina Sim\u00f5es, de 46 e 45 anos, tinham celebrado a passagem de ano com um jantar e uma noite no Palacete. Dizem-nos isto enquanto mostram a herdade onde instalaram uma extens\u00edssima planta\u00e7\u00e3o de figos-da-\u00edndia biol\u00f3gicos. Apesar dos milhares de catos que vemos, n\u00e3o podemos provar o sabor deste fruto ex\u00f3tico origin\u00e1rio do M\u00e9xico que, ficamos a saber, j\u00e1 existe em muitas partes do Alentejo (s\u00e3o 390 produtores em todo Pa\u00eds, em 830 hectares) \u2013 ele adapta-se bem a situa\u00e7\u00f5es extremas, menos ao excesso de \u00e1gua.<\/p>\n<p>S\u00f3 depois de julho estar\u00e1 pronto para ser colhido, explica o casal, que deixou Lisboa e as suas profiss\u00f5es (ele engenheiro mec\u00e2nico, ela professora) para explorar o terreno da fam\u00edlia, abandonado at\u00e9 2013. Este ano, a Di\u00e1logos do Bosque conta chegar \u00e0s 40 toneladas, mas a maioria n\u00e3o fica em Portugal.
